In September 2016, Maven International provided Spanish-English simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services for a three-day WHO event focused on global public health initiatives. This marked our first collaboration with the World Health Organization, supporting discussions on health policy, disease prevention, and international healthcare strategies.

The event required highly accurate and specialized interpretation to facilitate communication among global health experts, policymakers, and researchers.

Medical & Public Health Terminology – The event involved discussions on technical health topics, requiring interpreters with expertise in medical terminology and WHO policy language.

Mix of Simultaneous & Consecutive Formats – Interpreters needed to switch between simultaneous interpretation (for larger sessions) and consecutive interpretation (for breakout discussions and panel interactions).
